I have had my Plinth Heater since 2017. It has worked well over the years. Just one minor issue. The internal thermostat stopped working a few months ago. On contacting Thermix Uk Ltd they provided me with a replacement part within a few days and all is now well. Thank you for the excellent service.

We bought this as we have a really old house and when we’ve been away without the heating being on its take a a day to get the heat back into the house, due to house layout very difficult to hang and plumb in rads where you need them.
After a lot head scratching we stumbled over this U.K. company making these heaters.
Paid for and the next day it was here, well packaged and you can see they have learned as the box was broken on the corner but it was well protected, the unit itself was ok, it w as very compact and well built, watch the edges of the steel as like any cut metal very sharp.
To install was 30mins, prep work, plumbing and I reinforced the opening as it only chip board, this took a good 6 hours.
The unit when running at full speed sounds like you have a fan oven on, normal is like a fridge hum, this is drowned out easily with the tv when we have it on, easy to turn off from the switch on the unit with your toe, I’m sure this isn’t recommended buy the makers but if your gentle it works great.
They sell various heat out puts and we have the biggest water only model the 2100, it heats the rooms ( kitchen and living room) in mins this takes the rads hours...can’t believe how well it works.
We fitted as advice by the seller in a LETTERBOX, style and it dose look nicer than laying on the floor and cutting round. It comes with flexi pipes and the correct fuse for that model.
They also have smart models and thermostat models to which all have there plus points, also with now with smart sockets and gadgets you can have so many alternatives.
It has a year and up to a two year guarantee if you register...it asks for a professional to install , if you have Good DIY skills it’s a simple plug or socket connection and two 15mm compression fittings, but you have to be aware when fitting the pipes as they are fragile, so I don’t know why they wouldn’t honour it, but check.
Looking for space to put another one downstairs to do the same thing. Great product so far.
I hope I don’t have to edit for at least two years 🤞🏻😀
Show how passionate these people are, they saw my pics in the review and phoned to ask me about two potential issues they could see in the pics,
1st was left intake vent was covered by the plinth, this could restrict the air into the fan assembly, this is very important if you have gas ovens as it has the potential create a depression and could cause oven to malfunction, mine was ok as out of pic there was another vent allowing air into the plinth area.
2nd I had letter boxed the heater so the rear now needs supporting, which I had done already on there advise but they couldn’t see in the pic, in fact It’s the block in the second pic, there one either side.
What a great company.
Thank you.

I fitted a Thermix Hydronic plinth heater in 2023 as part of a full kitchen refurbishment. I chose the Thermix brand partly because of the positive customer support feedback to be found online. Although the unit has been excellent in operation, I recently experienced an issue with the thermostatic operation of the unit. I put in place a temporary work around to ensure continued operation of the unit pending a full fix and contacted Thermix Technical to confirm that the work round wouldn't cause lasting damage. They confirmed that it wouldn't but were really keen to facilitate a full fix. They provided in depth technical advice and support that enabled me to fully diagnose the problem and, when it was found to be the wireless thermostat receiver that was faulty, they sent me a replacement unit free of charge. Once this had been installed, the unit is once again working perfectly. I could not have achieved this result without the support and advice from Andrew at Thermix Technical. The communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. This is particularly impressive given that the heater is no longer under warranty and, in my experience, this level of customer service is becoming increasingly rare. In summary, I would recommend the Thermix product without hesitation.

This is a review of the Thermix KPH-2100 Voice Controlled - Smart WiFi Plinth Heater (2023 model without Thermostatic Control).

Having now had these plinth heaters running for a couple of years, I can confidently recommend this product and the Thermix (Kitchen Heaters) company to you.

The build quality is excellent and they have run pretty much faultlessly for the last 2 years. With these Hydronic models, you aren't paying the cost of extra electricity to heat you space as they run off the central heating system (except for a small amount of wattage for blowing fans and the smart connectivity). In the 2023 models, the smart connectors were simply SONOFF BasicR2 boxes, these can be problematic at times but this is because the SONOFF backend (ewelink) has had stability issues over the years but I haven't had many issues recently so maybe Ewelink have upgraded their services.

We only really had one slight niggle during installation and that was having to install something for the units to sit on as they are pretty heavy for the plinths to hold up on their own. The newer models may come with adjustable feet or something (worth checking if you are going to order).

I see the newer models also come with a thermostat, that's excellent as the older models were pretty much on or off. Although, it is possible to use an Alexa Routine with an Echo device that has the built in thermostat, to deactivate the older units when the Echo gets to a configurable temperature.

One final note, the company themselves are very easy to work with, they are friendly and competent.

Perfect solution to a big problem in hearing my kitchen! No room for a radiator under floor heating not an option so it was the perfect solution. Not only is it very discreet it’s quiet in operation and kicks out an unbelievable amount of heat. Kit comes with all that is needed and is not much more than buying a traditional rad valves etc.

One happy customer and I have already recommended this British built item to many others thank you Thermix UK Ltd

I recently purchased an under counter plinth kitchen heater, and I couldn’t be happier with both the product and the service I received.

The heater itself is fantastic – compact, efficient, and perfect for keeping the kitchen warm without taking up any extra space. It heats up quickly, runs quietly, and the design fits seamlessly under the cabinets, making it a practical yet stylish addition to the room.

What really impressed me, though, was the customer service. From start to finish, the team was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. They answered all my questions promptly, guided me through the installation options, and even followed up to make sure everything was working perfectly.

It’s rare to find a company that combines such a high-quality product with genuinely great service. Highly recommended!

Managed to flood plinth heater with burst pipe which stopped it working.....thought I'd need full replacement but after talking through and testing various components with Andrew's help and advice over the phone, managed to buy replacements at much less than the cost of a full replacement.
Great and fast service and also made me realise how efficient, well built and easy to work on, these units are.
I've had mine for 3 years working off the C/H and it's a really effective heat source in an area with no room for a radiator.

I have now purchased three Plinth heaters from Thermix.
All model KPH 2100-C
The delivery was efficient and prompt. When I had a technical question it was answered instantly.
I bought them as the two properties I was renovating were short on wall space and did not want a bulky radiator taking up space.
I am very impressed with the quality and effectiveness of these small yet powerful heaters.
I will be purchasing again in the near future for my next project.
please see installed photos....
